The "Big Roof Construction Method" is a technique for safely extending roofs, such as eaves that protrude from buildings. In this case, the customer wished to extend an existing 10-meter eave by an additional 7 meters while also enclosing the entire loading area indoors to allow for work to be done without getting wet from the rain. Therefore, we developed a structural plan that incorporated the "Cover Build Method," constructing a new frame that covers both the extension area and the existing loading eave area. This allowed us to expand the loading area while maintaining operations during construction and enclosing it indoors. Considering the entry and exit of trucks, we adopted aluminum over-slider shutters for the opening doors.
